Which outlet should you go to?

Whichever one is closer. Both are Premium ZEISS Stores and both carry the same range — made-to-order prescriptions including high powers, strong cylinders and rimless work, myopia control lenses, the full contact lens range, progressives, children's frames and sunglasses. The lens options are demonstrated on the counter at either one.

Ghodbunder Road (Ovala) is the easier trip if you are anywhere along the Ghodbunder corridor — Ovala, Kasarvadavali, Waghbil, Brahmand, Manpada, Hiranandani Estate or Kolshet.

Bhaskar Colony is easier from central Thane — Naupada, Teen Hath Naka, Panchpakhadi, Charai, Vartak Nagar or Kopri — and it sits alongside the Bhaskar EyeCare clinical team, which helps if you are combining the visit with an eye examination, a paediatric appointment, a myopia control review or dry eye management.

Eye test appointments

Eye testing and refraction are available at both outlets with an optometrist, by appointment rather than walk-in. Before you come in

• Bring your current glasses, even if the prescription is old.
• Bring your most recent prescription if you have it on paper.
• For a contact lens fitting, allow about an hour and don't wear eye makeup.
• For a child's appointment, tell us if there's an existing clinical plan we should work to.
